How to get motivated in 5 minutes

What can you do when you can´t seem to get motivated? On days when even getting started seems like too much effort there is still something you can do to rediscover a little motivation. If you want the solution to get motivated - it is easier than you think...

Instead of getting overwhelmed by your never ending to do list take a different approach. Take 5 minutes at a time. Yes! Start a task and aim to stick with it for only 5 minutes.

At the end of that 5 minute period - mark a tick on your desk notepad and do another 5 minutes on the task. Rinse and repeat!

By taking on a little you will find it easier to get a little motivated and once you begin it is easier to get back into the flow. Momentum will carry you forward after you have started on the work that needs to be done.

Very often when we don´t feel like doing much it is only a problem of getting started. So take 5 minute chunks of time and beat the procrastination habit. Within minutes you will feel a little motivated and after just a few 5 minute blocks your motivation will gradually pick up.

Knowing how to get motivated in easier than you thought!
